Customer Satisfaction and Returns Policy

We hope you enjoy these beautiful jewellery pieces as much as we have enjoyed sourcing them.

At Capell Road Art, customer satisfaction is our priority. As our jewellery items are unique, second-hand, vintage or antique, they often have some wear consistent with their age, and deserve gentle care. We aim to accurately display any tarnishing or imperfections in the product photos & descriptions, so that you are aware prior to purchasing.

We are more than happy to answer any of your questions and provide additional details and photos of a piece you are interested in.

Where present, we use hallmarks to assist in identification of provenance, and metal purity to the best of our knowledge. Where hallmarks are absent, metals are acid tested, and gemstones are all tested with an industry standard gem tester.


We offer refunds & replacements in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.


We offer a full refund or equivalent store credit if you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase.

Please contact us within 1-4 days of receipt of your item to discuss. The item must be in the same condition as it was shipped. If altered, sized, or damaged, the item will not be accepted.

We do not offer returns or refunds on resized rings.

If a piece is grossly mis-described or damaged in transit please contact us within 5 days of receipt for a full refund and to discuss at helencapell@outlook.com.

We will organise to repair the damaged product, or to replace it with an equivalent product, or provide a refund, provided that you contact us within the following time from the date you received the product: 5 days.

Any international returns will have any customs charges or taxes deducted from their refund.

ExceptionsWe may refuse to provide a repair, replace or refund for a product or service you purchased if:

  • You misused the said product in a way that caused the problem.
  • You knew or were made aware of the problem(s) with the product before you purchased it.
  • You were unclear about what you wanted.

Any other exceptions apply under the Australian Consumer Law.
